Frequently Asked Questions
What is Wood Therapy?
Wood therapy uses a number of different wooden massage tools to help break down fat and cellulite. The wooden instruments are used to apply direct pressure to “problem areas” and essentially naturally eliminate excess body fat. The wood therapy we know today is actually based on an ancient Oriental wood manipulation that dates back hundreds of years!
Who can benefit from Wood Therapy?
Wood therapy can be beneficial for anyone looking to improve the appearance of their skin or reduce muscle tension. It can also be helpful for those looking to improve their lymphatic drainage such as those who have just done surgery.
Is Wood Therapy painful?
You might feel some discomfort at first as the technician applies pressure with the wooden tools, but you should quickly get used to it. If you experience unusual discomfort during the treatment, you should let your provider know immediately.
Are there any contraindications for Wood Therapy?
Wood therapy may not be suitable for everyone. People with certain medical conditions, such as cancer, heart disease, or blood clots, should avoid wood therapy. It is also not recommended for pregnant women or people with open wounds or skin infections.
What is Butt/Breast Vacuum Therapy ?
Vacuum Therapy is the most revolutionary non-surgical butt enhancement technique that gradually lifts and plumps the buttocks. Enlarges and firms the buttocks/breast tissue without surgery. It increases the flexibility of the skin. Wood therapy is used to break down cellulite and fat deposits in the thighs, while activating the lymphatic system. We then push the broken down fat cells up to the buttocks and apply vacuum therapy cups to “hold” the fat in place. This allows us to ‘retrain’ fat cells to sit in the buttocks, but without maintenance treatments or surgical intervention, the fat cells will eventually shift back to where they started. Once a month maintenance is often enough for most people to enjoy their results indefinitely!
How soon will I see results?
You will start to see a difference after just one session! To make your results long lasting, a series of treatments is recommended.
How many treatments will I need?
Typically just 3-6 sessions will give you outstanding results when done in a 1-2 week timespan! The trick is maintaining the results with a proper treatment plan. We recommend 6-8 treatments your first month (twice a week), then 1-2 times a month for maintenance. Just like working out, consistency is key, but let me do all the hard work for you!
Are there any contraindications for Vacuum Therapy ?
Vacum therapy may not be suitable for everyone. People with certain medical conditions, such as pregnancy/ breastfeeding, active cancer, recent surgery, and recent use of blood thinners are the most commonly encountered contraindications.
